With the real transfer deadline looming tonight, it seems that the international break will give us some time to consider our next team selection and probably most importantly any transfers we may need for Gameweek 4 (Deadline 9th September).

The past few weeks have seen a few name changes from our league members, but no changes in transfers from our league leader Michael and his team ‘Smoke Bombs’. He has managed to keep the same team (until now) for 3 weeks and collect maximum points for our league. No smoke screen there!

Only 1 point behind, fellow campaign member Brett and his team ‘HatemBenArfa’ are also sitting pretty (where Hatem always thinks he should be) and it seems like these two will be challenging each other throughout the rest of the season. This will be an exciting battle between the top two for 2017/2018. Is it too early to say these two could be in for the prize money?

More great management skills from Adam Grant has helped his Bedlington Terriers move up into the top 5 this week, with Peter Holland and Fiorentina Turner sliding a little, in danger of dropping out of the top ten. I’m sure Peter will be fine once the heartache is over 😉

Gayle Platt is doing very well lately, joining Inspired Out Scoring from Corrie. Being guided by Jordon Smith she has battled up the league  almost getting into the top half of the table. Let’s see how long it will be before she makes a big Corrie return.

Unfortunately Dave Taylor’s ‘Massive Bereavement’ sits at the bottom after only 1 week joining the league in GW3. He has quite a bit of catching up to do. Let’s see how he does towards the end of the season. One to watch out for!!

What about using your wildcard? Is now the time?
