We raised over £500 for Finley’s Gift and RVI Children’s Cancer Ward

As we have demonstrated with our latest position in the Sunday Times Top 100 of Best Companies to work for, as the caring company we are, the support we give to our employees goes a lot further and not just to our Charity Partner.

When we heard the story about one of our own employees young child, Finley, having battled cancer at such a young age of 8 months old, we all came together purchasing wristbands to help fundraise for their cause – Finley’s Gift.

As they are not setup as a charity, Finley’s Gift regularly fundraises for other charities that helped Finley and his family throughout their ordeal. As Finley is now in remission, Finley’s Gift will use the money we raised here at Inspired to donate to the Children’s Cancer Fund for Wards 4/14 at the RVI Newcastle.

The funds are used to help support the children’s cancer wards that Finley attended, for the parents who stay on site with their children, toys and games and any requirements the ward really need to aid in the support for the children and the parents staying on the ward.

Finley’s Gift

As a team we raised over £500 so thank you to all who have contributed towards this great cause including Inspired as a business – you can follow and find out more about Finley and his battle with kidney cancer (Wilms Tumour) here.

“We just want to say a huge thank you to all at Inspired and to those who purchased one of our blue Finley’s Gift wristbands. As a parent when you’re regularly attending those child cancer wards, overnight stays for days at a time, almost feeling helpless watching your child go through what they have to, any support, emotionally, or financially is welcome! So thank you to all at Inspired.” – Steven Fee (Finley’s Dad)
