Why wouldn’t a business want to invest in improving the well-being of their workforce?
Here at Inspired, we recognise that ‘Better Health at Work’ is not just positive for us as a business in regards to performance, but by being able to influence and improve the health and well-being of our employees, it becomes a very rewarding opportunity and responsibility.
The Better Health at Work Scheme allowed us to do exactly that – bring focus to the well-being of our employees.
The PRO’s certainly outweigh the CON’s with this award scheme, by improving employees health we have seen:
- Improved performance within the business
- Overall staff morale has been boosted
- Sickness rates have been reduced
- Staff engagement has increased
We are very proud to receive this award in the ‘Silver’ level, after winning the bronze last year. We now have a number of ‘Health Advocates’ within the business who are constantly promoting better health at work and trying to influence others to improve their own well-being. Over the course of the scheme, we have introduced, developed and endured a number of different initiatives to reach the objectives of both Bronze and Silver accreditation. As Andy, stated last year, in the video above we have all worked extremely hard towards this award with everyone being involved.
We are now discussing and organising more initiatives focusing more of our efforts on reaching the next stage – GOLD!
